Breach of Contract

One of the most important ways that businesses secure their working relationships and transactions is through contracts. When one business breaks promises they make in a contract (in other words, they breach the contract), the other business has the right to get the matter remedied through the legal system. This may be in the form of an order for specific performance, (which will make the other party do what it has promised to do in the Contract), or if it’s too late, seek a claim for damages.

If you have entered into a contract with another business or contractor and believe that they have breached that contract, engaging the assistance of a lawyer will generally be invaluable. By carefully listening to your story and examining the contract in dispute, your lawyer will be able to advise you on what kind of action you may take.

When there’s a breach of contract, we offer you true lateral thinking skills

Even if there has been a breach contract by another party, an aggressively litigious approach need not be the initial approach. PCL’s expert contract lawyers have the ability to see things from your perspective, and work out a strategy that will be most cost effective, as well as allowing you to get back to business sooner.
